MAAC Prez's Westward Club Tour

On behalf of Kenora's club, I'd like to thank Richard Barlow for taking the initiative to head west and give some of his time to our members.

Your visit was well received and it was comforting to see the Head Kahuna show up with a van full of planes and fly.

I've no doubt you have also learned-and-earned some insight into the quality and diversity (of talent) that exists in all regions.

Cheers.

MAAC Pres.

I've had the pleasure of talking to Mr. Barlow several times in the last year. MAAC & it's members are really lucky to have someone of this caliber as our president!

I've known Richard off and on over the last twenty years -- no change that I could see -- basically an honest guy who cares for the hobby.

Better not sharpen your swords too much -- you may have to fall on them or do the haiku/seppuke routine.

I too have known Mr. Barlow for some time and I know he would be the first to tell you that today’s MAAC is not the MAAC of days gone by. The bulk of the work and direction is done by your Zone Directors who make up the Board with the advice and direction of the executive and the President. Along with congratulating Richard on his efforts we need to recognize and appreciate the work done by the members of the Board of Directors and office staff who shoulder the bulk of the work load allowing our President the time to devote to promoting MAAC and our hobby.

My cudos to the board was implied on the assumption that there was full support for the trek. Hell, even I could find nothing to whine about and donated a bed for a couple nights to help keep costs down.

........quite a sacrifice, I know,...... considering the company.

As for the office staff, there should be no doubt about my support and the understanding that they truely keep the organization .........organized.

.....man, sooo much love. Kinda sickening, eh? Somebody must have stolen my password? (Not to worry Dennis, I still don't love you ...yet. )

Like I've always said;

"Make love, not war.........after you crush your enemy"

There isn't enough sugar in the universe fer that, must be artificial sweetener, or too many lonely nights on duty.
