MPX Acromaster
I ordered one of these kits as I wanted a bigger electric aerobatic plane. I have some HS 65 servos, 4x 3S Lipos (2100), a CC45 ESC and two outrunners that may work in this. One a Hacker 30-12XL (a little heavy) or a BP 2915-5y that I got at a funfly (KV is only 790). I wonder how much difference an Orbit or other hi-end motor would make?

Jan,
You may find one of the two motors suitable. You probably don't want to draw too much current or you may be landing every 4 minutes to change batteries. |

Drive set recommendation:
"Himax C 3516-1130" 11 x 5,5 APC prop, ESC: Phoenix 45 A (3 LiPos, 3200 mAh) Wingspan 1095 mm Fuselage length 1150 mm All-up weight min. 1020 g It seems like most people are getting up to 10 min flights with static WOT currents around 35 amps, using 2100's which are the 3D battery of choice to keep the mass down. |
