Does anyone have an opinion, or any experience with the Caliber 30 w/OS 32 Engine kit. Have some interest in it and would like to know. How is it compared to the Centry Pro? Interested in .30 size machine. Like the .50 size but fuel and parts would be cheaper with the .30 size. Any input would be a great help. Thanks.

hovering on a 50 with 1550 headspeed i get around 13 minutes of flight.

its not that big of a difference between flight times and you will like the extra power when you start flying around.

if your on a budget, take a look at the caliber 5 from kyosho. i think the kit is around 350 and with a 50 hyper is 500 which is a really good deal & it will take you from hovering to sport flying to 3d.

that would be a kit to start off with.

spare parts cost differences are very minimal if not nonexistant between 30 and 50 machines (basing this on my raptor 30 & 50, other brands may be different).

i started on a 30v1 and flew it for one year then bought a 50 titan for the power.

Stay away- 30 size Raptor or Evo would be a much better choice

Thanks guys for your input. This is something I am thinking for a winter project. You give me somethings to look into. Around here lately I do not get in to much flying time because it has been a bit windy. Thought I could get some time this weekend, with 3 days off, and it has been a bit wind for me with my Align 450. Meet a guy this week with a Raptor 50 and it gave me the bug for a nitro again, very stable in quite a bit of wind. I really like the feel and weight of the 50 I use to fly, way back when. I use to love the way you could flare it in for a landing with all that weight behind it, boy that was fun. Makes up for the crashes. Anyway thanks for your input.
