I am finding I am having a allergic reaction to the CA glues, I was wondering if anyone with same type of problem have tried the oderless ones, and if it made a difference? If not can someone recomend something beside CA glue, or should I just start using epoxy.

White glue or carpenters glue works well. It takes 30 minutes to set. The only thing I don't like is you have to clamp the pieces in place while the glue dries. It is easier to sand than CA glues and much cheaper. If you don't need the speed that CA offers, this is the way to go. Works for me.

Agree that carpenter glue is easier to sand and finish. You only need to use light coats but need to clamp or weight it so it doesn't warp.

I have a really bad reaction to CA too the next day I get a really bad cold!!! that lasts for thrre days!! I have tried the odourless stuff no reaction but it does not work very well, pva is ok but I second the comments about the time it takes to cure and its heavy too, I've taken to wearing a mask with an oxygen cylinder whilst I'm in the same room works albeit a litttle restrictive...Colin.

Give me an e-mail at (there is an underscore (_) between ontario and adhesives) or call me 519-733-0416.

Super Phatic is amazing stuff, I spent the summer going to as many event as I possibly could, guys who bought it from me and used it, came back and reaffirmed what I had told them when they bought it.

Here's a few benefits of S.P.:

• No fumes or vapours to irritate eyes, nose or sinuses
• Very thin, excellent wicking action into wood
• Lighter than CA (looses 50% of it’s weight as it dries)
• Does not bond to skin, washes off with soap and water
• Has greater elasticity than CA, doesn’t dry brittle
• Once dry, it’s sandable and waterproof
• Sets up in approximately 20 minutes, full strength in 2 hours
• Bonds wood, plastic, and foam
• Produces tougher joints than CA

Wow, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with this problem. I have a 42% Nemesis that I can't build because of my severe reaction to CA.
