Does anyone have any experience with Li-Mn ( Lithium-Manganese ) batteries. The ones from Apogee.
Comments, good or bad ?

FWIW, Mn=Manganese. Mg=Magnesium.

Mesage now redundant, Tex.

a couple of people are using them in our club, my son being one of them.

initial results seem very good although it's a bit early for any serious review.

they are a bit thicker than any 3-cell lipo I've seen due to the lexan side protective covers. the other dimensions are similar to other lipos.

due to the extra thickness, they will not fit my mechanical mix trex 450. they do fit other versions such as the sa model,
Papa Sharptooth

Bouncing about the living room, my then three year old grandson declared himself "a kangaroo".
"If you're a Kangaroo, what is Grampie", I ask.
His reply: "you a dinosaur"

Hey there!

I've been running the 3800mAh, 2S packs in series to make 10s-3800mAh packs for my electrified Raptor Heli... I have been very impressed so far.

A few things to comment on...
1) They are about 3% heavier that Lipos
2) They have a semi-rigid case
3) They can take 2C charge rates without a problem (designed for it)
4) They balance much easier during a charge than some Lipos.
5) They have a 20C + discharge rating - equal to Thunder Power Extreme Packs but not quite the punch of the NF Formulation FlightPower packs.

I purchased all of mine at Zebra Hobby with great success.
