CA Hinges and Super-Phatic

Has anyone tried using SuperPhatic with CA hinges?
I discussed this with Chris at the Kitchener Scale Rally.
His suggestion was to soak the CA hinge first prior to installing it as well as working a bit of the SuperPhatic into the hinge slot. I am going to test try it, but was wondering if anyone else has done this before and wondering what the longevity of the hinge after being in use for awhile.
I know it would sure be a heck of a lot easier wiping away excess SuperPhatic as opposed to thin CA when I go overboard!

Don't know how well the glue holds with age.
I glued nylon hinges in a foam airplane and when it had an issue ( crashed) the foam was still attached to the hinges. Problem is the ailerons weren't attached to the plane anymore. So far the Super Phatic seems to bond very well. Nice and thin. Easy to use.

Since Super Phatic starts out with yellow aliphatic glue and is then treated with "additves" to make it thinner and set up faster. It will have the same life as regular carpenters glue. How long is that?? Take a look at some furniture put together with it, I guess.
