I appreciate your doing this research as I have an unopened 20L container of Shell 1-K in my garage! I have offered it up to some fellows that are experimenting with something munrelated to our hobby/sport. I was never fond of using it, that's why it has been in my garage for 3 years, because Ron Oscar had used some and complained bitterly about the sulphur smell. It is possible he was using the Shell 201 product which according to Peter's content sheet has about 8 times the sulphur in it.
The picture you displayed shows that yours is the low sulphur content product as is mine! Anyway Ron's JetCats ran fine on his Shell stuff except for the smell. I would ask him which he used but I think he is still out on the east coast looking at scenery...
It may be that the smaller injector needles cannot handle it, the Moore's should have been fine on it I think. Neither the RAM nor the Wren would have run on it as their needles are much smaller than the 66 needles, for obvious reasons. In any event if it screws up even small engines there is less than any reason to use it on any engine! I bought it several years ago as it was about $4.00 less for 10L than the CTC product. However; even this year I only burnt 10 jugs of CTC and the $40 extra that the fuel would have cost back then is minscule compared to any engine repair bill. Today the costs of CTC and the Shell product are less than 10 cents/L difference near as I can tell. I have never heard of anyone getting bad CTC kerosene...that says it all.
Maybe we should do a group buy in the spring??? Ahh but the freight is the killer! EDF F-20 is finished, maiden after the rain stops sometime this week!

just got home and noticed my name in this post....Len is correct, I did use the Shell kero a couple of years back when a pal that works for Shell unloaded 60 or 80 litres on me...it worked fine, as does the Mohawk kero I use now at half the price of CT.....Ron
