Since I had the surgury I have been able to play a bit. With over 50 stitch's I was not going to get near to much dirt. I used a clean cotton glove for covering my hand and when I slipped it was ouch.
The balancer neads 2 coils then will run it up. This is a pic of it assembled. Going to Calgary tomorrow so hopefully they will have the parts.
Another project is making a test mount to fit on my starting stand. I made this with a drawer slide modified (shortened) so that there is 2" of travel. It has the tracks with balls so it is smooth when sliding. The turbine is mounted with a ss clamp type mount which makes it adjustable. My question is what to use for measuring the thrust. I checked on making an electronic one but the load cells are too expensive. I need something cheaper and small if possible. If anybody has some ideas it would be appreciatted.
Keep the shiny side up and the wheels down
