I finally got my Multiplex Cularis, just wondering if anybody here on RC Canada are flying or building one so we can compare notes- sure is no ARF when you get it, scary part is putting all the molded parts together with CA and kicker- you better make sure everything is lined up before you press it together, you only get one go at it! Anyway if it performs like the reviews it should be a fun El glider, 2.6m span, fully loaded (Aelerons. Elevator ,Rudder and Flaps) and can be built as a straight Glider for aerotowing or highstart -or as I am doing an El version

Sorkai, why can't you use polyeurathane glue eg Gorilla glue and a water spritzer? Seemed to work good with my Multiplex Twinjet.
so the motor is optional?

Don't know why, but Multiplex specifically ask you to use thick CA w/kicker.
they say any other glue would eventual fail, the only substitute they recommend is Hot glue!- using Gorilla glue I would be afraid some panels might lift apart when the glue expands?- And yes the el setup is sold an option, it's a Himax HC3522-0700,- if you are interested in the plane there is a real nice and interesting building tread done by an Ausie on RCU:

I have put togehter 2 multplex foam planes before.

The PU is fine on my EZStar for over 3 years now. Strong as steel. You will have more time for alignment, etc. The yellow color of glue sure looks out of place.

CA (not foam-safe!) and kicker work very nice and quick. I suggest use of CA only on both surfaces and let it evaporate for 1 minutes (depends of CA used). Then Join the pieces and use a bit of masking tape to hold position. Align your plane with a jig of some kind (I use foam block and strings.). When all is good, let the CA sits there for 2 more minutes then spray them with he kicker.

I like the PU better.
