Plastic fuel tanks

Has anyone ever successfully re-sized an existing plastic fuel tank? I'm not sure just what the white plastic material is, but I've not found anything yet, that will glue this material together. I know tanks aren't expensive, but I've not been able to find the size and shape that I need for this project. Can any one help?
Trees are only good for firewood.

fuel tanks

I think sullivan made tanks that were made of a flexible material more like a bladder. They kinda looked like the portable water jugs for camping that could be crushed to pack and save space

What dimensions you need to meet for the tank and capacity.

Depending on the plastic, many can be deformed with a heat gun....
