OS 50 temperature in winter?

Hi, I recently bought a temp. gun.
On an OS 50 hyper what should be the temp in summer fall and winter measured at the base of the head near the crankcase.

Do you guys go for a richer setting in winter because the motor does not run properly or because it’s for temperature safety?

not sure about temp but in the cold the engine will run with more power due to denser air.

Richer setting(~1/4 turn) in winter because air density is higher.

I would try for 170-200' F on the head- it only takes a couple clicks richer to get it tuned for the colder weather
