Recently discontinued as an ARF, here's one for you bargain hunters.
This is a recent plane, acquired the beginning of November this year.
In the interest of full disclosure, here are the details. The kit is complete. Wings have been joined with my super strength 24 hour cure epoxy and ailerons have been installed and the gaps sealed with clear Ultracote.
The original plan was to install my Zenoah G62, so the firewall spacer in the kit used with a midget glow engine was built up to suit the Zenoah with its Slimline wrap around smoker muffler. Very easy to return to original configuration. Blind nuts installed in firewall as it comes are still there.
For those not familiar with the plane, here are the specs:
Wingspan: 73" (1854mm)
Wing Area: 1880 sq in (121.45 sq dm)
Weight: 16 - 18lb (7257 - 8165kg)
Wing Loading: 20 - 22 oz/sq ft (61 - 67 g/sq dm)
Length: 63" (1600mm)
Airfoil: Fully symmetrical
Center of Gravity: 2-1/2" (64mm) back from the leading edge of
the bottom wing at the fuselage
Control Throws- High Rate Low Rate
Elevator: Up & Down 1-1/8 " (29mm) 9/16" (14mm)
Rudder: Right to Left 2-1/8" (54mm) 1-5/8" (41mm)
Ailerons: Up & Down 3/4" (19mm) 9/16" (14mm)
Oh, and one other thing - the covering was cracked on two wing tips, so I repaired that.
Bargain hunter special deal: pick it up where is as is $225.00. No shipping.
Thanks everyone, including those who think that this is the same as the ARC version.
You snooze, you lose.
