Having served on the exective of a number organizations, I know how frustrating it is to get folk to step up to take a turn. I have, on occasion, had to leave an organization to shed a job.

Dave, I have to agree. There comes a pont where you have to ask yourself if you are getting sufficient "good" out of the club for what efforts you've put in.

the "Aggi Tater" type can kill off your enthusiasm -- I was on the Executive on the recommendation of one such person, who then turned around and then made my life a misery; the only fun I got was that he helped put my successor into office and is now doing to him what he did to me.

Yes, very glad that I'm out of that one!
