brushless motors arent really rated like that but more in power output... but anyway here goes.

probably a 500 equivalent brushless would do the trick fine. it all depends on the application you want to use it in, how much power you want to have, the wingspan/weight etc.

When I have switched out a brushed system for a brushless I have found that If you only match the power you are replacing the weight is so much less that you end up adding dead weight any way. If the glider is to light it lacks penetration and we always have wind where I fly. Instead I match the weight of the two power systems with the additional bonus of much greater power allowing longer flight times and much more aggressive climb outs. I have used the Jeti Phasor JEP303 and their brushless speed control to power everything from a Siren to a modified Bird of Time with outstanding results.

Jeti Phasor JEP 303
I used a Jeti opto 70 amp because I had it handy you can use the recommended 40 amp in the combo
A Graupner Cam 11-6 folding prop
A Thunder Power 2100 3 cell battery pack.
