Hello All..I'm trying to help another fellow get some information on the Legend Pattern Aircraft...One of the other RC Canada members suggested posting in this forum...He mentioned that a couple of you guys may have past experience with this Aircraft (prior to moving to IMAC) ...

Here is a couple of links to this fellows thread on the RC Universe forums:

Certainly would appreciate any info you could provide...

I have a little experience with the Legend series of aircraft that were originally designed and manufactured in Ontario by Greg M.
If I remeber correctly,Greg sold the moulds and fixtures to Henry Piorion(not sure on the spelling).
As of roughly 10 years ago Henry P was located in western Canada and also sold his own as well as copies of other pattern kits such as the eclipse and his own Python.
The pictures you linked to look alot more like a Python than a Legend IMHO.
One way of telling if it is a Piorion kit is the glass fuse is a pinkish colour because Henry used a flexable polyester resin, when most other people/manufacturers were using epoxy resins, greenish or yellowish.

Best of luck with your restoration/info quest

Definitely a Python, kitted by Henry Piorun (no longer in business).

Its a late 90's 2 meter design, centered around the early 140 4 strokes (140 FZ's were popular back then).

There is still the odd one flying in contests around here, still quite competitive in the lower classes. I have personally never owned one, but seen tons of them fly.
