Reverse conversion..electric to glow

Was just wondering if it is possible to do a reverse conversion from electric to glow ?
Lets say a Great Planes electrifly Yak.
Could it be possibly converted to glow power from electric?
Would the airframe be able to hold together? Or handle the extra weight, if there is any?

You hit the two key questions right on the head!
Generally, IC airplanes are over-stressed for electrics, and the reverse usually applies. This is due to the "hammer" effect of the IC powerstroke, which is not a problem with electrics.
You'd need to beef up the structure (either more wood and plywood, or fiberglass), which means more weight in the front end. The radio installation needs to be beefed up as well due to the stronger vibrations being transmitted through the airframe. More weight.
Plus fuelproofing. Yep! More weight!
Advantage (sort of) is that you lose the battery pack unless you're using lipoly.
My suggestion is that you don't tackle the project without more research and thought.
