Bonding lithoplate to balsa

Bill here is an article from the RC Scale International Nov/Dec 2003
Bondaweb Its a new adhesive called Bondaweb.
Its main purpose is to bond fabrics together, but it works great for litho
and balsa. It comes on a 'carrier' sheet of paper and it is sold off the roll at sewing shops, but don't let that stop you! It has a very thin layer of adhesive that has been sprayed onto the carrier paper.
The carrier paper allows the glue to be applied to one surface by
heating it with film iron against the surface. Once cooled, the carrier paper is peeled off and the litho plate sheet placed on the glued surface.
The litho is heated to activate the glue and you can apply the Bondaweb to either the litho or the model. It's actually easier to do it than it is
to explain. Hopes that help.

I tried JB weld, not bad but the edges come up. Tried 3m77 but folded the edges over for that scale look. worked fine and was fast. The 77 seemed to be a better bond than the other glues.
