My Hirobo XRB battery is dead... Stock battery has 3 wires, I would like to use a standard Li-Po pack 2S-730ma/h but there is only 2 wires on those packs, Is someone know what the third wire on stock XRB battery used for?

That goes a long ways back but if I remember it's for the balance charger that comes with it. The replacement TP 730ma batts that I got didn't have balance taps on them so I cut the wire about an inch from where it plugs into the chopper and put on a MiniDeans plug and charge it with the Triton charger. Hope this doesn't sound to confusing. If so just holler.

Tried for my kamikazi pilots licence. Flunked the test.

Not having one in hand, I'd be willing to bet that it's the same 2s 800 mAh battery that's in the Venom Ocean Rescue/Walkera 54. Anyone who carries those should have the batteries. They should be ~$20-$30.

That said, if you're not fussy, you can pull the plastic battery cage off the bottom, slap a piece of velcro there and use a 2s pack of your choice. Go maybe 1200 mAh and get some more flying time.
