Bisson Exhaust Extensions

Good Evening: What would be a good way to extend the exhaust stacks on a Bisson muffler for my O.S. 160 FX? The original stacks are short such that they don't extend outside the cowl. I tried the Dubro type flexible elbows, but one fail just by running the engine on the ground, so if anyone's got other more durable suggestions, I'd like to hear about it. I was thinking either silicone or tygon tubing, or even brass piping with appropriate clamps of course. We're only talking about an extra inch or so per stack. Also I think flexible metallic tubing is commercially available.

Are you looking for exhaust stack tubing?

pick a size you need. OR

On one of my 4s, I use a 4 inch length of (copper) cold water pipe held in place with a pipe clamp. Diameter needed to be down-sized but works just fine.

Scrap coffee maker

I recently tore apart an old coffee maker so I could recycle the plastic, inside is two pieces of 3/8" id. high temp silicone tubing about 3" long.
