Anyone have any experience with Scorpion motors and controllers? I am looking to electrify a sig lt25 and these motors sound like they are getting good reviews.

Go to Watt Flyer Form and do a search. Question has been posted there, replys were not very positive. Several reports of motor failures below max AMP loads running recommended batt. and props.

Scorpion Motors

I have to disagree with 1thepalmer. There were some problems with the first 22mm motors which over heated when run at max current but this problem has been solved by adding one more strand to the winding which has reduced the I2R losses. I have been using several of the 22 and 30mm motors and also have a 4020 which I plan to run in a 57" extra 300. They are some of the best priced motors and have one of the best warantees in the business. I would suggest you give then a try.

Well there you are Rusty, Stuff goes into the market, fails, then is "fixed" I prefer to spend my coin once and buy quality. Spend a bit more and let the penny pinchers do product testing.
