How to make fiber glass wing tube slevees

Its that time once again when you have to do what you gotta do . I know the theory how to make these but I haven't made one yet myself. My question is: What material is best to wrap aluminum tube with before wrapping it with cloth tape?

Thin guage of Mylar or Wax paper.

I will be using either 4oz or 6oz cloth tape to make these sleeves.

I did a similar thing when I made the aux intakes on my BD-5J.
I used wax paper. I turned out ok but I should have folded the inside overlap edge of the wax paper back instead of leaving a raw edge of paper. The epoxy stuck to it here.
Hope you can understand what I mean?
Howzitgoin' eh?

Always used wax paper rolled tight, held in place with scotch tape, works great everytime. used Zpoxy or West Syetem.

a light coat of vaseline on the al. tube helps also if some resin gets by the wax paper overlaps.
