OS Max 60 FSR

I obtained an OS Max 60 FSR a while back and plan to use it in a Goldberg Chipmunk. I would like to know if anyone out there has an exploded parts diagram for this engine? I am wondering why the larger part of the two piece crankshaft sticks out so far. I need to drill out the back of my props in order for them to slide on.
I would also like to thank Bisson Mufflers for their quick response to my inquiry on a Pitts style muffler for this engine.

My explanation would be that the tapped hole for the stud can go only so deep into the shaft without breaking into the intake window. So extra material has been added to the front of the shaft. The shaft extension acts as an accurate locator for the propeller. When drilling out the back of the propeller ensure it is a fit on that extension. Some props with a molded in counterbore may already be a fit on that diameter. APC props come to mind.

Your explanation does make sense. I did try an APC prop and it would not go, but it looks like I only need to remove a small amount of material to make it fit. Thanks for the reply.
