The wings were built up balsa as was the tail, but the Fuselage was all glass(1.5oz I think)
I made the mold from foam, then I cut 2 or 3 groves along the length of the fuse and then sliced the fuse into 3 parts. then I built light ply bulkheads and epoxied the fuse parts together and epoxies 1/4X1/4 balsa stringers in the groves. then glassed and sanded and glassed and sanded...
The worst part was removing the foam after. I cut it by hand for the most part, but dissolved the rest with gas.
It was quite a project (Many years ago) and did fly (mostly), but I had fun with it and learned a few things.
