Take a look here.

The SE has all the bling but is slightly heavier than the 3D. If you are not into hard core 3D buy the SE you will never need to upgrade a thing. I have an SE with over 1200 flights. Any questions send me pm.

What you really want to look at in the 90 is a metal head block (SE and 90-3D). The steel tail rotor hub on the 90-3D is desirable also. The best bang for your dollar comes from the 90-3D, it also has push pull on everything and is more durable for parts in some areas. The 3D has an extended pitch range which is handy, you can set it up with less but getting more from the SE or the standard usually requires a tad bit of extra money.
