Well I finally took the plunge after months of fence sitting and bought my first turbine. I was back page'in the for sale adds and came across a nice Yellow Aircraft single F 18. Picked it up last Saturday and ordered a JH 66 Kero start from Altercare on Sunday. It should be arriving in a couple of days. So I guess Leamington is now oficaly on the books for me.
Boy is there a lot that goes into one of these things! 10 digital servos festo fittings up the ying yan, valves, swithchs, Servo extensions to no end, tanks every where you can stuff em, and lots of other things I am sure I have forgotten. My hats off to you guys who got the ball rolling with out the help that I have received a big thank you to Jeff DeCaluwe and Peter at Altercare. Been working on it non stop for 3 days now and I am ready for the turbine instalaton. Good thing I am holidays. The wife has sent out the neighbors looking for me And she didnt hit the roof when she seen the Visa bill Guess I will be taking her out for a little vacation to Niagrafalls this weekend

Thanks Andy for the great deal on the plane. To Jeff DeCaluwe for all the advice and bits and pieces and Peter for great service. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of new faces and friends this summer.

That's right... there is no cure. I wouldn't count on three more to stabalize your condition. It WILL help cope with the fever, but something like this does not stabalize. But one should keep buying more jets just in case it will eventually work

Welcome aboard the Freight Train Canadianice.... There is no lookin' back now. Congrats on the great looking F-18. I've always loved that colour scheme. BTW: Don't worry about the drooling/slobbering issue the first time you fire up your own turbine. It will subside in about 15-20 minutes. Just make sure that you have someone there to pour you a pop after it's done
So many planes,,, so little time
