Re: How to wire servos

Go to the following site, and go down to "Servo & Extension Lead pinouts and wiring". I think the third one down has pictures part way through the text.

By the way, you may want to save the link in your favourites - it has many useful articles, solutions to problems and ideas of how to do things. It is a great reference site for R/C related information.

P.S. Sorry I misread the original post - the next post is correct, not all recievers work with all radios. Some transmitters send out a positive shift signal and some send out a negative shift signal - the receivers are designed to work with transmitters with the same "shift" - Hitec has recievers that will work with both. However, all servos can be made to work with all recievers if you wire them correctly - see the link above.

Re: How to wire servos

Airtronic receiver won;t work with Hitec radio, Hitec is negative shift, Airtronics is Positive.

Hitec Optic 6 has shift select capability negative or positive.

Airtronics servo leads if you have the Z connector, it is compatible w/ most brands.

Black - (-)
Blue -(signal)

Note: The airtronics in the picture is the old ones have blue wire.

Hitec Optic 6, Eclipse 7, and Prism 7X TX's are all shift selectable.
