I am a newbie to Heli flying and I love it, a special thanks to my man for introducing me it RC flying. I have a Blade CX2 that I am learning to fly with and a Rappy 30 in the makes. Only He won't let me fly it quite yet as I'm still in training.LOL. Crashed my cx yesterday into the fence but it only need minor tune up and I'm ready to go....Can't wait to go bigger, think it will be way more challeging.

Re: A new begining

Way to go!!!

My best friend is like you. She climbed into this hobby in a small way, and now I can't stop her. I already know I'm going to be building a new work bench; now we need his and hers.

Were into airplanes, not helicopters (and please don't tell her there are heli's too).

I'm really glad to hear we have a new member in the vast and enriching world of modeling.

Good Luck to You!!

I've spent most of my money and time on model airplanes, mean women, and beer. All the rest was just a waste.

Re: A new begining

GCW, yourself and your hubby should come to the ERCHA funfly in mid June in Edmonton, Alberta. It would be well worth it and several people from down in south BC make the trek as well. There will be other women pilots there as well that share the same new love for the hobby! Congrats and welcome to a new addiction!
