It's a 35-40 minute drive to the field. But that is nothing compared to what I have planned for this summer. Ten trips to out of town events. Shortest drive is about 400km. Longest is 1300km. Figure an average of 1000km. That's 10,000km just to fly jets. Oh yeah, and I'll be towing a travel trailer too. I get about 15l/100km when towing. So that will be 1,500 litres of gas. At todays price of $1.20, that should cost about $1,800 just for gas. But man, is it worth it!

Yep that is a serious love of flying right there folks!!!

I am less than 2 minutes from where i usually fly so it's not really a factor. Besides its right beside a co-op cardlock so sometimes i fly when i need to fuel up the truck!!! lol

flying time ? lets see? wednesday 5pm till dusk for training students including sat. am till noon then my own flying till the odd sunday when working sats. .I feel giving and teaching is a theraphy itself from our grueling schedule to live life. for sure its a good way to spend time with close flying buddies.
