Looking for the best covering for a 2m glider

Hi Folks,

The only coverings I have ever used are silkspan/dope and balsa/silkspan/dope, and I have done well with these.

I am currently building a 2m sailplane (Bobcat kit) and I am looking for advice on covering materials.
I am careful and logical when it comes to covering but would like some input from those who know...

Thanks in advance,
"With enough power, you can fly a brick!"

Well, I like "Litefilm" myself, its very easy to work with, has little weight and comes in enough colours to suit me. Coverite Microlite is another fine light product, but you need to apply and adhesive (Balsaloc, Stixit, etc.) to the underlying structure first. These don't have as much strength as the much thicker film coatings like Ultrakote etc. but then I don't rely on the film for structural strength. Its worked well for me over the years.
Salutations from the Pacific North WET!

S.P.A.D.s, Fibreglas & Balsa EDF's, Foamies, Brushless powered and nitro balsa planes, they're all in my hanger, just don't explain what it all means to the mrs, eh?

Try Utracote in one of the purple transparent colors for lightest weight ,easiest application, and highest visabilty.Purple is one of my least favorite colors but I find it better than reds or yellows when Im up there at the limit of visibility.
