This was great had to fly on low rates can't wait to see what it does on high some day a little practice first ,third circuit knife edge with almost no rudder input, had to do 2 clicks right ail and 2 click up elev, will try to move the cg a little to get rid of elev trims.Landed like a dream .Recorded top speed 135 km/hr da 85 with slimline (first tank) 6700 rpm with 26X10 xoar (on the ground)1600 at idle .max temp (run 5 min on ground) 193. Max amp draw 1.2 amps (just smooth circuit.Using light landing gear no problems with flex at all.Half throttle take off nice and smooth. This is my first gasser and I think I made the right choice easy to see, easy to fly even with the shakes. rx did switch out primary rx to secondary three times during flight (didn't notice at all while in the air )for just a second each time.using the ant tube installed at factory .

Thanks for all the help from TBRUM AND SARAWNTY

Re: first flight quique python finally

Hey Skyad... I'm glad you like the Python. I've got my DA100 (on MTW Cans) in it with a Vess 27A and it is a 3D Monster!!

I have never had a plane harrier like this one and it's rock steady in a hover.

Sarawnty has gone to a 26x12 prop on his DA85 and says the torque roll effect is much less... that's my next move on my DA100... 26x12 Mejzlik!

Overall, this is the nicest plane for 3D and knife-edge that I have owned...
