4 blade prop

Well, i need to get a bit more clearance on my water spadder CL-415, and was thinking of using a 4 blade prop of less diameter than the 11x6 im using now.
The engines are TT .46pro's.
I have run this engine with a 3 blade 10x6 and was not impressed with its performance, it just dident deem to get the RPM.
Has anyone run a 4 blade on a Thunder tiger 46? How did you like it? Any suggestions before i go and drop $20 into a couple props that may not work!

Re: 4 blade prop

My choice would be the 10x5 prop.

The 10x5 will give you more RPM than the 10x6.

High airspeed shouldn't be an issue with this plane but taking off from the water may require a longer take off run with the 9x6 prop. Even though it will have more RPM you might have cavitation due to high RPM and less surface area with the small prop.

Just my opinion but the proof will only come if you try it.
