Hi Jason

It might be just what I need.
I have been searching yor a small laptop that has enough processing power to run Microsoft Streets and trips from a USB2 port and keep display up to allow me to drive at 110 kmh and still not miss a turn off.

It also has to be small enough to use by the passenger so they can program in new co-ordiates etc. A 7 inch screen sounds pretty good.

Feedback please.

I've never tried it, but from what I've seen Win XP can be installed, so I couldn't see why it wouldn't work.

The size would certainly be right.

Ken and for Jason to know also... i own the eee. I personally use it to watch HD videos and it is used for my GPS.

I run streets and trips 2008 with the ms GPS and it runs perfectly.

There is an app you can download to "overclock" the cpu. When i say overclock i mean set it at stock 900mhz i believe it is. Asus underclocked it out of box. It is 100% safe to run it at full 900mhz as it also increases fan speed.

Any questions you may have about this thing feel free to ask i've tinkered with it as much as someone possibly could.
