I would like to beg, borrow or ugh buy the plans for a partially completed Ikon N'Wst fairchild 22 that I purchased at a fun fly, and for my Ikon N'Wst Monocoupe 90A that I damaged the wing tip on during a local IMAA meet.

I have also posted this in the plans section.

Iv'e never met a plane I didn't like...

Re: Ikon N'Wst plans

I am afraid you will not find any Ikon N'west available until Aaron reopens after completing all CAD and molds for his polycarbonite replacements for the original fiber glass parts.

Original designs "had to be" redrawn to permit laser cutting and in doing so eliminate close to 25% of weight from what I have always called mass design instead of engineered designs.

Today's typical rc customer expects a design which can be built without a great deal of previous construction experience.

This does not mean Ikon N'west kits are difficult to build. In fact, just the opposite for most of Emil's designs as they were easier to follow than other comtemporary's were back when the Bigger-Is-Better crowd got started.

Aaron is taking something good and making it better.

If you watch the Ikon N'west section of BuyAero.com the statement in the header will announce availability in the near future.
