i am seting up a ultra stick 1.2 with a 23cc zenoah.
i bought it used with a couple of spazzy servos installed. i am changing the servos with 5 of my Spektrum ds 821's that came from a totaled plane.

the tests you mentioned seem reasonable.

Good luck Brett - reasonable care and caution along with some common sense and you should be fine. Check them out good, and more than likely they will still serve you well. If you notice anything peculiar like irregular centering or abnormal glitches then either send them in to be checked by a pro or don't use them. If they are high dollar servos then a check by the company is warranted if you have any concerns. Like anything, a little care and common sense goes a long way. Hope it works out fine for you.

How much do you have invested in your new model? Include time and cost. How much to have them checked out? Cheap insurance if you ask me. I never understood anyone buying used servos to put in thier models. They are the last connection you have between the model and you. You have no idea of their condition other than a visual guess.
