howdy all - i'm looking at buying a used thunder tiger st-1, pretty sure its the pro-roller version.....anybody know about these? i mean i'm wondering how it will compare to a 8-t or RC8? i guessing its not quit as fast on the track but what about durability and parts support? also, whats the difference between the RTR and the pro-roller? i would be racing it if i got it........and what is a decent pro version without tx/rx worth do we think, i'm thinking $230 is a good value.......any help or insight from a previous owner/racer of one would be great. thanks all, dgsmooth.

I'm the potential seller so will jump in. It's not the pro version but a lot more information can be found at rcuniverse. There's a 250+ page thread on it there.

I would like to point out that the RTR version retails for $450 at great hobbies.
