We don't use the typical spad combat planes. We use balsa fuse and foams wings, keeping the cost low and build time short. Then we use OS .15 LA engines and attach 30 ft of string followed by 30 ft of streamer.

It's going strong in Toronto and Richmond Hill, and it's slowly spreading to other clubs surrounding the Toronto area.

Here's a video of how we do it...

Re: Combat video in HD

Hey Juice:
I have one of Richard's , "Caution" kits. I have it put together and had intended to come out and fly combat with you guys. I heard that you were pretty much filled up with participants and I was not going to bother. I used to fly combat with the coroplast WW1 and WW 2 fighters and always enjoyed it. The trouble for me is that the events are always on the weekends in the summer and participation requires a fair amount of travel. Do you guys ever just go out and tie on a streamer in the evenings ? I am only 10 minutes away from your field and would welcome a chance to come out and fly. We do pylon racing at our club and it's OK, but combat is better. I also heard that you fellows were in danger of losing your field due to the encroachment of new housing developments. Are you going to have a place to fly?
Best Regards
Bob Byrnes

Hi Cash,
Welcome to RCC.
Are you that/the same 'Cash' from Texas?
Just curious.

My 'Caution' flies great. Beauty design.

Love that 'long string' battle with big 30ft (2in.wide) streamers and .15 engines...

Always a laugh...

Julce, You made a beauty video.

R/C Combat is the most Fun.

Take care,
Have fun,
