I wonder most of the time what makes the expence so high. All of them basicaly work under the same principle. The digital servo's get extra signals compared to analog and is why they stay centered and hold better but it is one chip. The gears can be made out of metal, plastic or whatever but at the quantity they buy would be cheaper. I can not see why the prices get outrageous every time one new one comes out.

sorry to go off topic a bit since some of the gurus are here, my question is, i heard that some hitec servos like the 645mg series are not compatible with 2.4 g something like, it can not process fast enough. i have a lot of 645 on my fleet. its something i heard.
