Should I happen to run out of projects after those I also have to finish:

KMP F7F tigercat
CMP Giles
Comp Arf Impact
Sig Ninja
Graupner Race Rat
H&M Miss Candace
And a partridge in a pear tree...

Re: Winter projects!

Good posts! I'm not building much at all, just a few indoor IMAC type foamies. My wife says I have enough planes...go figure

I do have a FW 190D9 Dave Platt kit thats been in the shop for about 30 years...maybe electrify it (since I sold all my slimer engines). What recommendations would you guys have for a 90 size engine replacement in electric?

Re: Winter projects!

No major build. But will be putting together a 42% Dietrich Slick 540. It should arrive by the end of the month.

Hi Michel. ; Good Luck With That! This is Canada; The Great White.

I've spent most of my money and time on model airplanes, mean women, and beer. All the rest was just a waste.

Re: Winter projects!

I've got a Unionville Norseman thats been on the shelf for to long that is going to be worked on this winter. I also have to tweak my CL-415 SPAD and get the water drop system working, and I also have started a Hawker Sea Fury SPAD. 84" span, hopefully my 46cc poulan will power that plastic monster!!

Re: Winter projects!

Wow, you guys have some awsome builds and projects on the go! Was thinking, perhaps in the Spring we can have a picture thread showing what we've completed over the winter months. I would love to see some pics of the aircraft that are going to be..!

Hey Thunder Chicken, how are things in Souix Lookout? Haven't heard much from you in awhile. Glad to see you have a couple of projects on the go! Everytime I look at the pics of my Winnipeg Trip and our stop at the Souix, I wonder how your doing! So happy that your hanging in there my friend!

Thanks so much folks for your build posts. I just finished putting up two wing racks today and getting my planes hung from the ceiling of my newly insulated workshop/garage ceiling. I have yet to install the gas heater so generously donated to me by my friend Moo but in the mean time I have a couple of small ceramic heaters going, actually only one is needed to keep it warm in there, suprisingly, as it was only 1 deg. C outside today stayed a steady 65 in the shop with the heater on low. Great deal at Canadian Tire for only $24.99. Its small but it really puts out the heat!

ANYWAY, there is still pleanty of room in this thread and still many many who I am sure have something planned for this winters' building. PLEASE give us your list. We love seeing what others are working on! Post away my friends!

You make me laugh.

I could take the picture tonight and no mater what I plan to get done this winter, it'll most likely be the same come spring.

Of course, you'd never know that the stuff had no change over the winter unless someone blabbed.

Re: Winter projects!

I'm thinking about working a tiny Guillows P51 into an indoor electric flyer. I've got the wings done but I'll need to figure out elevators and rudder. Thinking about powering it with a very small LiPo and servo motor. I don't know if the servo motors I have will be enough though.
