I agree it is a lot easier to be accurate at longer distances with a compound I shot wheels for a few years before going to traditional bows but for birds on the wing I found it was harder to get a quick shot off with wheels rather than trad bows .

I have dropped deer at 50 yds with compound bows but now I like the challenge of getting closer to them. I prefer shots of 15 to 20 yds max of 30. Have been within 5yds on a few does but let them walk not what I was looking for.

Any type of bow hunting is a challenge and takes practice to succeed at. After several years of compound I made the choice to callenge myself a little more and go strictly trad bows.
