Re: Can anyone ID this model please?

Bill, I concur, she's a Bomber allright, probably set up for 1/2a 44 inches she's about right, maybe a bit small on wing area,. Klarich has a short kit listed on their pricelist for a 44 inch Bomber with about 250 squares. It's a bit small for a B class ship, those were usually in the 55-65 inch range..

Re: Can anyone ID this model please?

There was no engine on it when I got it. It was just one I had laying around, probably one from the 70's. I had it on a Carl Goldberg Skylane42 with a Cox Sanwa 2 channel using just a single servo on the rudder.
Thanks for all the help.

Re: Can anyone ID this model please?

G'd morning - it certainly seems to have a ,049 Golden Bee motor and the taller glo-head and deeper looking fuel tank make me think it may be for Texaco. And some of the Comet Zippers that Carl Goldberg iterated had diamond fuses. Vince in Stratford might know, where are you Vince??
Oops, just read the posts properly and see that was not the original engine, sorry.

Engines and covering are changed all the time. That model could be 5yrs old or 50yrs old who knows. There are alot of 40 and 50 year old airplanes still flying. That's the beauty of flying these majestic models.....they always come home in one piece
