I am looking for either a 3 view of a Bell 206 Jetranger (Kiowa) or the Huey 212n. Instead of building a fixed wing I thought I would have a go at a Heli type for the winter. I believe I have the numbers right but being in the senior category I may be off. Both aircraft where used by the Cdn. Forces in the 70's and as I have lots of hours on them I would prefer to build them.
Thanks in advance,
John

Re: 3 views

Hi John: Seems three views for helis are just about impossible to find. Tried to find 3 views for a Sikorski Dragonfly but all I could find were good photos. So I drew up as best I could, copied to some pink foam and carved to shape. Hollowed out the inside with the soldering gun with copper wire trick. Looks sort of way off scale but whose going to complain without 3 views At least it looks better than the eggs they call canopies. This is on the weeny Walkera 4#3B Turned out very well and doesn't weigh anything.

Re: 3 views

Thanks for your help. I am realizing that 3 views are not very plentiful for helis but it was worth it to ask. I am going to make a cnc cutter and it would be a good project when done (if it gets done) to cut one out of foam for a shell.

Re: 3 views

What do you want exactly, stations with butt and water lines?

Re: 3 views

That would be a big help but you don't see much of anything like that. I think I will try after I get caught up a bit taking a picture and converting it to cad and then try a hand at cutting it out of foam with my cnc foamcutter. At least this way I can get the outlines close.
Thanks John
