Just flipping through my 1964-65 Zaic Yearbook, I was very surprised to see the following article and photos. Dundas Ontario is just a ten minute drive from here below the Niagara Escarpment at the head of Lake Ontario (known as the "Valley Town").
I know a descendant of this club now flies on private property near a full size grass strip south of me between Ancaster and the Grand River, having just a few years ago lost their public owned field in Dundas to fly at.
A club house like this one is one that most groups only dream of, and I find it funny that none of the older members I knew in the Hamilton Flying Tigers ever mentioned it, or talked about the author who had built so many models .
Maybe one of you on here can tell us more of the club to complete the story for us. I know JohnM used to belong and fly at Dundas, maybe he can fill me in. Where was it exactly? Is it still standing? How many years was it used?
Either way, just love that club house photo with the full size prop over the door, and can picture many a vintage model on those work benches.
Listen quietly, and you can almost hear the hanger flying tales that drifted down wind from it during the long winter months.

Re: Dundas Model Aircraft Club.
Yes Chad I was a Dundas member for probably close to 20 years but never hear mention of a Clubhouse. . . Cheers
