I did put some weight on but not much - probably just a couple ounzes. . Pete - yours was really in rough shape. . . mine was almost mint when I got it so I consider myself lucky. Can hardly wait to take it up and have noted your comments re. wind. I am a little concerned about the size of my engine but Bill is using a .40 two stroke and yours has a .46 - so I am kind of in the ball park with a .70 4 stroke but we shall see. . . my only problem is that I was only able to get a 6 oz. tank installed (the original had a 4 oz.) and it took some doing to get it in. . . (plan to use a low pitch prop). . . thanks for your reply and I envey you flying your real plane in B.C., it must be incredible!. . Cheers - John
got any close-ups of your engine install? i think you'll be able to cruise around all afternoon sipping fuel!!
i have to say the flying out here in the valley is beautiful. i can't imagine a nicer place to cruise around the sky! low traffic and wide open valleys!
