Well they finally did it, Saito has brought out the 125 gasser 4-stroke... I see it has its own saito pumper carb.. Not a walbro like the 220.. This engine will change alot of the of 70-120 size aircraft... Also got my FlyRC mag today, some guy named Jim Moss ( ) is doing the engine review on a RCV 130 CD... Good article Mr. Moss, I guess that's how we refer to you now that your important...Just like Mr. Coholic...

Re: New Saito 125 gas engine

I fell in love with the idea of a 4stroke gas.... until I saw the price! I can get a Zenoah 20 for just about 1/2 price and it does not need an ignition battery.

Re: New Saito 125 gas engine

G20 does indeed need a battery for the electronic ignition.

The 4 stroke engines will always be more $$ than a much simpler two stroke, in terms of cost of manufacturing.

Price aside, its very cool to see something relatively small (well, a 1.20 isnt exactly small but smaller than anything else so far in terms of weight and physical size for a gasoline 4 stroke).

I certainly hope either Jim or I get one for testing for the magazine...

That will make a lot of 1/4 cub drivers very of both worlds!

Here is a pic of a G-20ei and an older Saito 120 side by side for comparison sake.....
