Re: Spitfire Build Thread

Hi Jeff,

Fleecy bottle chin scoop? Was that for 'Downy Soft' landings? HeHeHe

I remember the first coro attempts at the Spitfire, 6-8yrs ago.
Some said it could not be done. Year by year, tweaked here and there, it has evolved into the great flying JohnnyG kit.
I love flying mine !

I've got to patch up the last of my foam/wood planes and put them out of their misery this year. (they hate being stored, and would rather 'go out in style', rather than getting scrapped...)

For 10yrs I have tried to stick to my balsa/foam roots, but I have now learned (admitted!) how great coro construction can be.

I'd like to try a coro Me-109 design that will match the performance of the JohhnyG Spitfire.

It might take me awhile...but what the heck...I like learning new things and the straight wings of an Me-109 should be easier to design !

I'm looking forward to the next Match, as always...

Take care,
Have fun,
