Steering Servo Problem

Hey all, Im new to the site and need some help. I just bought a waterproof steering servo model 2056. (traxxas)
I put it in, left the steering unhooked, pluged in my battery and set the servo straight. And on my controller as well. (put to zero) Put it all together, and put the truck down. When i start to drive it the wheels turn left and stay there untill i adjust the trim on the controller to the opposite to the wheels. Thanks for you time

Re: Steering Servo Problem

hi there

when installing the servo put it in the truck without the horn/arm instaled set all trims to zero and plug servo into reciever and plug battery in and turn transmitter and truck on let the servo center it self and then install the servo arm so the wheels are straight and then install the screw.
Hope this helps

Re: Steering Servo Problem

hey thanks for the help Steve. I tried that and still the same. Ive done this 5times so far. After innital hook up, its fine for like 5 min. Then on its own the wheels turn to the right and stay there. This must be a malfunction part. My battery isnt full tho its been sitting for a month, but it still has full power could this be the problem. Cause im at a loss. I am ready to write traxxas a letter and send them a burnt truck. I Would go with LOSI RTR ROCK CRAWLER.

Re: Steering Servo Problem

Try rebinding your ESC or RX.
