Looking for a nice scale tailwheel setup. About a 1" wheel, leaf spring type and with the small spring that attaches to the rudder. This is for a 9' oldtimer.

Thanks Bill

Re: Tailwheel

I ordered this one for my 1/4 scale Cub.

I haven't received it yet but I'm hopeing it does the trick. Do you know where I could find pictures/info on how to rig it? Does it need it's own servo or can it be connected to the rudder? I've never built anything this big before so I'm learning some new things.

Re: Tailwheel

Bugsmasher, send me your e-mail, if you want by PM, and I'll forward you an e-mail I received from Du-bro for the exact same set-up.

I can't figure out how to attach the drawing the Du-bro sent me.

I used the rudder servo for the tail wheel and rudder, I hooked up the rudder via a Sullivan rod, and used pull-pull for the tail wheel steering on the same servo arm. Its a little busy, but it works fine. Daren
