I would suggest an updated video driver as Luke has suggested. I used to fix this type of thing all the time by simple updates. If you don't know how to update your video card (not everybody does), let me know and I'll try to walk you through it.

PS. I run 3.5 on my vista machine no problem so its not a vista issue.
Hey Buddy, thats a Kadet not an Extra!!!

Re: Realflight 3.5 trouble

Appears to be looking on drive O: Is that your dvd drive? It's looking for o: rfv3(realflight version 3) image airports.
Could be your dvd needs a cleaning or needs replacement. Just a guess. Is the dvd drive O: ??

If so, one good reason not to use a simulator that requires a program dvd in the drive. Maybe their replacement policy is free dvd replacements.

Then again if your drive isn't o: then maybe something is set to send it to o: in error.

Smile Re: Realflight 3.5 trouble

try this when you first open your real flight to start it it also gives you Additional Options rite under the run real flight button click that and choose Read help file when that is open scroll down till the page counter is showing about 390 then minimize that page then go and bring up the same start for real flight and go to that same Additional Options and this time choose technical support when that is open go back and and bring up the help files page again and read it all about the tech support it shows you what each thing does and some of those are actually your pc programs . you can even send an email to the real flight tech support through the tech support on the real flight and tell them what the error is and they will rite you back with the fix info. it kind of sounds like your direct X controle is not working properly any way good luck .
