Another cheapo you may want to consider is SK Engines. I've got a 90 2s that was $110. No issues with it.

Mine has run flawlessly ever since I have had it. Your problem sounds like O ring on needle is leaking causing engine to lean out and over heat. Try cutting a very short piece of fuel tubing 3/16 long and place over the place needle screws into them put the needle valve back in. It will be tight but air won't seep in.

I have two GMS .76 engines and both run great. I hardly have to fiddle with the high speed needle at all from day to day. They are a bit on the loud side as the muffler is not baffled, so if your club has a dbl limit then it is something to consider. My opinion is that they are well worth the money. I also have a GMS .47. I have not had any grief with it either. It is an inexpensive engine that for me has worked well.

Pie tastes better with Cool Whip.
