I wish I had read the post about the fly-in last Sunday, I was in Sudbury at Laurentian University, close enough to come and join in!

I see that you offered to send a cut model to use as a template, I was wondering if you would do that for me. I didn't think to copy my original clik! before I built it so I would have to cut it apart to be accurate. In exchange, a friend travels south in a few weeks time, I would send him with some cash, and he could head to RONA. We could import enough for everyone down here, and send you some aswell! Sound like a deal?

Andrew
Hi Andrew

I just cut a copy of the templates, you can have it picked up anytime.

You will not find that Fanfold at Rona unless I'm wrong, so far only at Lowe's in the US
here's the part name and no.
Bluelinx
1/4" x 48" x 50' Fanfold Sheathing
Item #: 127129 Model: 669153
Make sure to call me when you're in the Sudbury area, you can have breakfast with us followed by some indoor flying.
Lowes, that's right... I think I meant lowes. I will be in Sudbury again next week starting Wednesday! I would love to grab some grub and go for a few flights!! I'll have to start repairing my clik right away! I had a little motor vibration problem, I cant seem to figure out what caused it. I'll give you a call and set something up.

I must have been unclear about the foam though, he is heading down to the states in a few weeks, and we could pick up some foam and bring it back up here! Maybe we should take some orders...

Cheers
Andrew.

Sounds like a great idea, just give me a call. Approx. 10 to 15 of us meet for a meal around noon at a small restaurant called Homestyle Diner, 2 minutes from the gym, then head to the gym to start flying around 0100 pm. We have the gym till 0600 pm, it's a 3 gym setup with two retracting walls, to which I have the key. Another half dozen guys don't go to the restaurant but meet us at the gym around 0100 pm.

I 'm in contact with someone at Lowes in Barrie and he's looking into bringing some in, if they let him, if he needs to find out how many bundles, I'll have to ask around on this post.

Re: Blue Foamie

I received some emails from people inquiring on the location of the Blue Foamie Build Thread, for the time being, here it is until I find a better way to announce it, maybe a posted link or something like that.

The Build Thread starts on page 3: post 26 up to page 5: post 50

The list of components is on page 1 : post 7

Thanks to everyone who are getting involved and feel free to ask questions anytime.

I had to build another one for myself today, I keep giving them away, I must have made at least 10 within the last few weeks.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi

I'll see if I can get some large sheets of paper to trace it and mail it to you. If you can, send me a pm with your address, I'll mail you a copy. If I happen to meet you at an event, you'll owe me a coffee, how does that sound.

LMAO!

Too bad the plasma cutter at work doesn't blue foam, you could just keep feeding sheets and spitting out foamies! Gaston, I think you're going to have to convince Jack to buy a laser cutter.
